    Detectives identified the second involved male as 36-year-old William Rider of St. Catharines and charged him with aggravated assault. Rider remained in custody for a bail hearing on September 30, 2026, at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse, 59 Church Street. The update page title still says a male suspect is outstanding.
